Nurse (Women Veterans Supervisory Program Manager)
About the role
The VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (VA SORCC) in White City, Oregon is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Women Veterans Supervisory Program Manager (WVP).
Responsibilities
- Affirms the need for services for women Veterans and implements services for eligible women Veterans.
- Oversees the provision of comprehensive health care services tailored to women Veterans in a sensitive and safe environment.
- Plans and executes comprehensive strategies for addressing Women's Health (WH) issues to enhance the quality of care provided to women Veterans.
- Guides facility changes as directed by Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) while coordinating across various service lines and disciplines.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates WH care based on age-specific components.
- Coordinates care to improve patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the healthcare continuum.
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the Women Veterans Program and is responsible for all aspects of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care.
- Influences care outcomes by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and participating in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements

Qualifications
- Basic Requirements: English language proficiency, graduate of an approved nursing program, current full and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse.
- Grade Determinations: Requires a BSN or higher, with relevant experience and education meeting specific criteria for Nurse II and Nurse III levels.
