RN Supervisor Women Services

About the role

Baylor Scott & White Health Waxahachie is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to provide night shift leadership for their Women’s Services team, supporting both Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby units.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for Women’s Services during night shift operations.
• Support and coordinate patient care activities across Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby.
• Serve as the primary resource and escalation point for clinical and operational issues during assigned shifts.
• Aid in staff scheduling, staffing adjustments, timekeeping, and payroll processes.
• Foster staff engagement, accountability, and professional development.
• Collaborate with physicians, leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Promote compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Support departmental initiatives, performance improvement projects, and patient experience goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS required.
• Minimum of three years of Women’s Services nursing experience.
• Recent experience in both Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby care.
• Previous Charge Nurse experience strongly preferred.
• Prior Leadership or Supervisory Experience Preferred.
• Advanced certifications related to Women’s Services (RNC, NCC, or specialty certifications) preferred.
