Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during the overnight shift.
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with daily nursing operations.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor resident care and address clinical concerns promptly and effectively.
- Conduct rounds throughout the facility to maintain high standards of care and resident safety.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to nursing staff.
- Participate in state surveys, audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure positive resident outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication regarding resident care issues.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressive nursing experience in a Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Nursing Home setting.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage overnight operations.
Pay
$50–$52 per hour
