Nurse Unit Manager RN LPN

About the role

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff
• Achieve a positive and inclusive facility culture
• Maintain established infection prevention practices
• Ensure adequate staffing for resident needs

Requirements

• Minimum of an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• CPR Certification
• Two (2) years of RN/LPN experience
• Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit is preferable but not required

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
