About the role
John Scott House Rehab and Nursing Center is currently seeking a Nurse Unit Manager.
Responsibilities
- Mentor RN/LPN Staff Nurses
- Provide guidance to our Nursing Assistants
- Monitor training for new orients
- Ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care
- Implement infection control updates
- Greet new admissions and participate in discharge planning
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
- Direct workflow efficiently within time constraints
- Contribute to QAPI analysis and initiatives
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Massachusetts, RN preferred
- Experience with EMR
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC), preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid leadership abilities, team approach, and the ability to lead others respectfully
