About the role
The Terraces of Phoenix, a HumanGood Life Plan Community, seeks two Nurse Supervisor RNs to join their Skilled Nursing team. Positions are available full-time, Monday - Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, or part-time, Weekends only, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Compensation ranges from $43 - $53 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assesses resident’s needs at the time of admission and continually evaluates residents’ condition during the duration of their stay.
- Promotes the highest functional level of independence possible (keeping in compliance with state and federal regulations, and the community’s safety procedures).
- Supervises and directs care partners by providing support, encouragement, and direction as appropriate.
- Accurately and completely performs direct nursing services, such as, medication administration, treatments, personal care and other nursing procedures.
- Coordinates the residents’ plan of care with the interdisciplinary team (IDT), physicians, medical personnel, and resident’s family/responsible party.
- Updates the Director of Nursing on any administrative concerns, i.e. family issues.
- Handles all admission inquiries when either the Admissions Coordinator or Director of Nursing is not available.
- Ensures that the community Administrator of Health Services and Director of Nursing are notified of emergency situations that occur after hours or on weekends.
Requirements
- Completion of Accredited Licensed Nursing Program (RN)
- Current RN license
- Current CPR certification
- BS Degree, preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and related professional experience
- Minimum of 1-year professional managerial experience in related field
- Excellent clinical observation and assessment skills
- Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records and communicate with team members
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills, a professional attitude, commitment to quality of care and willing to help foster a positive working environment
