Nurse Supervisor - RN / LPN - Nights

About the role

NHC HealthCare Moulton is seeking a Nurse Supervisor, RN / LPN to join their team. The role oversees staffing, admissions, discharges, education, tours to prospective residents, addresses family/resident concerns, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, admissions, discharges, education, tours to prospective residents, addresses family/resident concerns, and performs other duties as assigned.
• Supervises and evaluates work performance of nursing staff.
• Makes sure policies and procedures are followed in the care provided to residents.
• Carry out disciplinary actions as stated in personnel policies.
• Completes admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as needed.
• Maintains resident lab schedule and results.
• Makes follow-ups based on 24-hour report sheets.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet performance requirements.
• Preferred graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BSN, ASN).
• Licensed to practice in this state.
• Participates in continuing education to stay updated on nursing trends and maintain current licensure requirements.
• Maintains CPR certification.
• Prior experience in Ventilator Unit/Critical care/Special Care is preferred.

Schedule

The position is available on a Night shift basis.

Pay

$5000 Sign On Bonus is offered for this position.
