Nurse Supervisor - Long Term Care

About the role

Assumes shift accountability for managing, supervising, and coordinating the operational and financial effectiveness and efficiency of the nursing service. Some service lines may require the ability to be available on call to better support the nursing services. Assists with development of policies, procedures, and processes in coordination with unit leaders to ensure the highest quality services are always provided to all customers.

Will provide oversight to the registered nurse and licensed practical clinical practices. Will participate in on-call duties as assigned. Assume House Supervisor role as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• 1+ years of relevant clinical nursing experience required
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of LPN license with a solid clinical background and supervisory/management experience
