Nurse Supervisor

Job Summary

You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will assess patients, perform skilled procedures, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care
• Make critical assessments and perform skilled procedures
• Meticulously implement patient care plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Contribute to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes
• Render professional nursing care to patients
• Support medical care as directed by physicians
• Ensure staffing levels are maintained
• Monitor patient flow using Teletracking
• Coordinate hospital response to internal & external disasters
• Maintain standard for communication within department
• Act as an education resource, assist with mandatory educational programs, and provide instruction to nursing staff
• Absorb and actively participate in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity/Dominican Hospital
• Support Dignity/Dominican Hospital's strategic plan and quality improvement activities
• Provide instruction to nursing staff in the use of the Res-Q staffing and acuity systems
• Act as a resource for Hospital Policies & Procedures

Requirements

• Required: Associate of Nursing, Minimum five years clinical nursing practice, Registered Nurse: CA, Basic Life Support - CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months
• Prior management experience preferred
