Nurse Shift Manager Emergency
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility as Nurse Shift Manager is to oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. You will advocate for your fellow nurses, supporting them in reaching their full potential while aligning with departmental goals and objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise nursing staff assigned to a particular shift.
- Assign patients to available nursing staff based on patient condition and employee skill level.
- Assess, monitor, and educate nursing staff on patient care.
- Institute emergency procedures as necessary.
- Anticipate staffing needs and respond proactively to them.
- Oversee stocking of supplies and updating patient records to ensure the nursing floor is ready for subsequent shifts.
Job Requirements
- Required Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- Current and Active Registered Nurse: CAAHA Basic Life Support / Advanced Cardiac Life Support, AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 6 months, Fire Safety within 90 days.

Pay Range
$60.65 - $92.23 /hour
