About the role

The Nursing Schedule Coordinator at North Park Nursing Center is a key team member responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels meet the needs of both residents and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Create staffing schedules that ensure quality nursing care is provided.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing needs and ensure compliance with budgetary, State, and Federal guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve a common goal of providing excellent care for residents.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to establish equitable and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.
  • Indiana RN, LPN, or QMA license.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.

  • Organizational skills to create effective staffing schedules.
  • Collaborative nature to work closely with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing.
