Responsibilities
- Delivers medical services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
- Provides nursing-related services to each patient/client.
- Performs medical and history screens, individualized nursing care, and oversees medical and psychiatric management in coordination with the Medical Director.
- Maintains vigilance for signs and symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal.
- Maintains necessary documentation for each patient/client.
- Directs technicians on assigned shifts.
Requirements
- Florida LPN/RN license required.
- Experience in substance abuse preferred.
- One year experience in an addiction treatment facility setting.
- Team-oriented and strong nursing/administrative skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, excellent communication skills, and strong medical background.
- Provides medication education and documentation for patients.
- One year residential experience preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
- LPN or RN license.
- BLS certification.
