Schedule
Full Time, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Performs primary care consistent with APRN’s specialized knowledge, judgment, skill, training, and education without medical supervision or delegation as authorized by the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
- Enters into and maintains a collaborative practice agreement with a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Missouri.
- Under the collaborative practice agreement, the physician delegates authority to deliver health care services and treatments, administer, dispense, and prescribe drugs specific to clinical conditions the APRN is authorized to treat.
- Provides health care services that include the diagnosis and initiation of treatment for acutely or chronically ill or injured persons.
Requirements
- Current Missouri Advanced Practice Nurse licensure as a Nurse Practitioner according to MO State Board of Nursing.
- Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
