About the role
PeaceHealth is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner at the University District Urgent Care clinic. The hourly rate is $82.27 - $98.44.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage patient encounters, including initial assessments, follow-ups, and referrals as needed.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Oregon.
- Experience in urgent care or primary care settings preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher.
- Active NP certification from an accredited organization.
- At least two years of relevant work experience.
Skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
