Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

PeaceHealth is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner at the University District Urgent Care clinic. Hourly rate: $82.27 - $98.44.

About the role

The University District Urgent Care clinic is part of a larger multi-specialty group within PeaceHealth, which includes hospitals, clinics, and clinicians across Eugene/Springfield, Cottage Grove, and Florence communities. PeaceHealth Medical Group has over 1,200 clinicians serving in Oregon, Washington, and Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, and provide treatment recommendations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient encounters and treatments accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Oregon.
• At least one year of experience in urgent care or primary care setting.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher.
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification.
• ACLS, PALS, or BLS certification.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
