What You’ll Be Doing Evaluate and treat patients across all age ranges, from infants as young as 1 month through adults age 65 and older Provide care for acute illnesses and injuries Obtain medical histories, perform examinations, and develop treatment plans Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, X-rays, and EKGs Perform suturing, laceration repairs, and other urgent care procedures within your training and scope of practice Prescribe medications and provide patient education and follow-up instructions Recognize patients who need a higher level of care and arrange appropriate referrals or escalation Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate with the clinic team Step into open shifts and adapt to established clinic workflows Your Next Shift Could Introduce You to Your Next Team.
