About the role

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for assessing and managing patient care within their designated service. This includes conducting physical exams, collaborating with healthcare team members, and ensuring quality and continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate patient assessments
• Review medical records and order diagnostic tests
• Communicate effectively with providers and patients
• Delegate tasks and evaluate team performance
• Adhere to safety and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and risk management

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• California Nurse Practitioner certification
• Active RN license in California
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner, particularly in dermatological care
• Meet credentialing and certification requirements within the healthcare system
