Nurse Practitioner (PRN)

About the role

This position is open at Brighton/Suncrest Hospice, a community health accreditation partner committed to providing exceptional care and service to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
• Records physical findings, formulates plan and prognosis based on patient's condition.
• Discusses case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
• Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment.
• Maintains and monitors progress of patients and reports progress to supervising physician.
• Works collaboratively with hospice employees and volunteers as part of an interdisciplinary team (IDT).
• Absorbs and assists in lifting and transferring patients as required.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• State licensure in good standing.
• Willingness to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively with hospice employees and volunteers as part of an IDT.
• Requires completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Pay

$85.00 per hour plus bonus opportunities.
