Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Spending 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
- Ensuring day-to-day execution of Concentra's clinical model, collaborating with members of the healthcare team to drive optimal clinical outcomes.
- Maintaining timely, accurate, and detailed patient records and paperwork.
- Interpreting diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
- Performing therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
- Instructing and counseling patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
Education/Credentials
- Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Major: Nursing or related health field
- Education Details: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience
- Master’s degree in nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Certifications and/or Licenses: Current licensed nurse practitioner in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice
- Must maintain work state nurse practitioner licensure throughout the course of employment
Job-Related Experience
- Customarily has at least the following experience: 3 years
- Customarily has at least three years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or an emergency setting

- Knowledge of laws and regulations that govern delivery of rehabilitation services
- Knowledge of worker’s compensation and clinical procedures and all processes involved in the delivery of quality care
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated willingness to participate in Continuing Medical Education
