Per diem position for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Intermediate Care Unit, managing high-acuity pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-acuity pediatric patients requiring close monitoring.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans.
• Order, interpret tests, and adjust treatment as needed.
• Collaborate with attending physicians and care team members.
• Support family-centered care and provide education to patients and caregivers.

Requirements

• Relevant certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Experience with high-acuity pediatric care preferred.
• Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and collaboration skills.
