100% day shift, Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts.

The pay range listed reflects both Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant titles.

About the role

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with other advanced practice providers on Nephrology Consult Services.
  • Independently caring for hospitalized patients with acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease.
  • Acting as an active acute care provider and collaborating with other professionals in formulating plans of care.
  • Managing renal replacement therapy, including Hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and peritoneal dialysis.

Requirements

Education

  • Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
  • Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Nurse Practitioner:
    • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice.
    • Active board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in area of clinical practice (e.g., Adult/Gero Acute Care).
  • Physician Assistant:
    • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice.
    • Active PA board certification.
  • All Applicants:
    • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
