About the role
Working as an inpatient team member within the Oncology Service at Boston Children’s Hospital to provide care for inpatient pediatric patients and families. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and quality family centered care and clinical oversight in a fast paced, collaborative environment with multiple opportunities for learning.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for inpatient pediatric patients and families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive and quality family-centered care.
- Ensure clinical oversight in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Rotate shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
Requirements
- A Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- A minimum of 2 years NP or PA experience required.
- Pediatric hematology/oncology or BMT RN/NP/PA experience preferred.
- A current NP or PA license.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of pediatric oncology and hematology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with patient care documentation and electronic medical records.

Pay
Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive benefits package.
