About the role

Working as an inpatient team member within the Oncology Service at Boston Children’s Hospital to provide care for inpatient pediatric patients and families. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and quality family centered care and clinical oversight in a fast paced, collaborative environment with multiple opportunities for learning.

Responsibilities

  • Care for inpatient pediatric patients and families.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and quality family centered care and clinical oversight.
  • Rotate shifts including days, nights, and weekends.

Requirements

  • A Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • A minimum of 2 years NP or PA experience required.
  • Pediatric hematology/oncology or BMT RN/NP/PA experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • A current NP or PA license.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay

Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive benefits package that includes flexible schedules, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, child care and student loan subsidies, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition and certain License and Certification Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes.
