Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Cardiac Intensive Care - Nights

About the role

The successful candidate will provide advanced practice care in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. This position is a night shift only role.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with complex cardiac conditions
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments as appropriate
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Georgia
• Experience in critical care settings preferred
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing or related field
• NP or PA certification from an approved body
