Nurse Practitioner Nights ICU
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. This role follows a 7 on / 7 off rotating schedule, offering the opportunity for work-life balance while providing intensive care to critically ill patients. The NP will manage complex cases, collaborate with medical staff, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Responsibilities
- Manage complex cases in the ICU
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Utilize advanced procedural skills (e.g., central/arterial line placement, intubation) if within scope
- Show strong critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and communication skills
- Be comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and ICU technology
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Successfully completed an approved Nurse Practitioner program
- Current licensure in the state of North Carolina
Preferred Skills
- Advanced procedural skills (e.g., central/arterial line placement, intubation)
- Strong critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and communication skills
- Comfortable with EMR systems and ICU technology

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
