Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a Pediatric Nephrology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Strong candidates have professional patient care skills, passion and warmth for caring for children and families, while committing to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.
What You’ll Do
- Provide general pediatric nephrology care, including management of acute and chronic kidney conditions.
- Support inpatient and outpatient consult services.
- Provide ongoing care coordination for pediatric dialysis and renal transplant patients.
Qualifications
- Hawaii Registered Nurse License
- Hawaii Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License (APRN)
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
- American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Respiration Program (NRP)
- CPR cards
- Two (2) years recent nursing experience in specialty preferred

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi‘olani. The medical center is home to the Kapi‘olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi‘olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
