About the role
The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients with eating disorders. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with eating disorders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide psychotherapy sessions and medication management as needed.
- Participate in clinical research projects related to eating disorders.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Ohio.
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry and/or eating disorder treatment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner residency program.
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-PN exam.
