Nurse Practitioner, Outpatient Psychiatry-Eating Disorders (JR216360)

About the role

The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients with eating disorders. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with eating disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Provide psychotherapy sessions and medication management as needed.
  • Participate in clinical research projects related to eating disorders.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience in outpatient psychiatry and/or eating disorder treatment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Nurse Practitioner residency program.
  • Passing scores on the NCLEX-PN exam.
