Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urgent Care - Per Diem (Lafayette Clinics)

About the Role

PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position in our Urgent Care clinics in Lafayette, IN. This role is 100% outpatient, serving patients ages 3 months and up for urgent care and occupational medicine visits.

• 3 shifts per month
• Services offered: injury and illness care, laceration and I&D, occupational medicine (work comp and DOT physicals), sports physicals
• Procedures include laceration repairs, I&D, EKG, suturing

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care and occupational medicine services
• Perform minor procedures such as laceration repairs, I&D, EKG, and suturing
• Conduct DOT physicals and sports physicals

Requirements

• FNP or PA certification required
• Must obtain DOT certification within 30 days of hire
• At least 6 months of experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine
