About the Role
PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position in our Urgent Care clinics in Lafayette, IN. This role is 100% outpatient, serving patients ages 3 months and up for urgent care and occupational medicine visits.
- 3 shifts per month
- Services offered: injury and illness care, laceration and I&D, occupational medicine (work comp and DOT physicals), sports physicals
- Procedures include laceration repairs, I&D, EKG, suturing
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care and occupational medicine services
- Perform minor procedures such as laceration repairs, I&D, EKG, and suturing
- Conduct DOT physicals and sports physicals
Requirements
- FNP or PA certification required
- Must obtain DOT certification within 30 days of hire
- At least 6 months of experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine
