Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Phoebe Gastroenterology

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Gastroenterology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced providers in a supportive, patient-centered environment while helping deliver exceptional care to patients across the continuum of gastroenterology services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and independently make decisions in major nursing areas
• Work alongside experienced providers in a supportive, patient-centered environment
• Deliver exceptional care to patients across the continuum of gastroenterology services

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• 4+ years experience in supervision and independent decision making in major nursing areas

Certifications and Licenses

• Nurse Practitioners Certification (NP-C) or Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Department Specific Certifications may be required

• Completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures
• Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility
• Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time
• Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs
• Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate
