About the role

Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to see patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position offers a competitive salary with relocation assistance, CME allowance, and fully paid malpractice insurance.

Responsibilities

  • See patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Expand comfort level with colon screenings, altered bowel habits, anemia, GI bleeding, reflux/GERD, abdominal pain, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, and more complex liver and bowel disease
  • Participate in flexible schedules including 4-day work weeks and telemedicine/remote work options

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree in Nursing, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license, federal and state DEA license, and ANCC or AANP certification required. One year experience preferred but not required.
  • Physician Assistant: Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two years working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant, and licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners required. One year experience preferred but not required.
