About the role

Responsibilities
- Provides appropriate patient care including recording medical history, physical assessments, developing care plans, ordering tests, interpreting results, and documenting accurately.
- Communicates and coordinates care with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, involving the attending physician in clinical decisions.
- Maintains continuity of care, coordinates periodic evaluations by physicians, and participates in performance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Administers medication, suture wounds, educates patients and families, triages patient calls, and manages outpatient concerns.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from a Board of Nursing-approved program.
- National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners through AANP, ANCC, NCC, or PNCB.
- Practicing-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority.
- Within 60 days of hire: DEA license, CPR certification, background clearances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years experience as an NP or PA.
- Four to ten years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- PA-C or board eligible, ongoing recertification (NCCPA).
- Within 90 days of hire: DEA license, CPR certification, background clearances.
