About the role

Mercy is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join the Imaging Services team at Mercy Imaging Richmond Heights. The team includes physicians, advanced practitioners, and an engaged support staff dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Medical care and supervision of Imaging contrast media associated reactions
  • Aid radiology technologists with non-contrast related medical issues during imaging
  • Contact breast center patients to provide education on next steps
  • Evaluate CT lung cancer screening orders
  • Contact Interventional Radiology patients post-procedure to ensure proper care and address any questions

Requirements

  • Full-time position, working a day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week
  • No weekend or call requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience with medical care and supervision of contrast media associated reactions
  • Knowledge of non-contrast imaging procedures and patient care
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
  • Strong evaluation and decision-making skills

Skills

  • Proficiency in using the Epic EMR system
