Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Hospital Medicine Specialist

Schedule

Full-time, night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 7 days on / 7 days off.

Responsibilities

• Complete medical histories and physical exams.
• Provide treatment to Family Practice patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, and established Self Regional Healthcare, Self-Medical Group, and Medical/Nursing Policies/Procedures/Protocols and Standards of Care.
• Perform other assigned duties as directed by Practice Physicians, Practice Manager, and Self Medical Group Administration.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director and Primary Care Director.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing or Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• For Nurse Practitioners: Current advanced nursing license from the South Carolina State Board of Nursing.
• For Physician Assistants: Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), completion and passing of the NCCPA National Certification Exam, and current licensure.
• Significant practice experience in a private practice or institutional setting.
• Strong clinical expertise, leadership, and organizational ability.
• Self-motivated and able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
