Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We're seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care or emergency room experience to join our team at Memorial Hermann - GoHealth Urgent Care. You'll work in our South Region Centers providing a wide range of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions and minor procedures.

Responsibilities

• Treat both adult and pediatric patients
• Recognize and manage more serious conditions requiring referral to the emergency room
• Deliver an unparalleled patient experience
• Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints
• Read EKGs and X-rays

Requirements

• 2-5 years of post-residency experience required for PAs
• 1 or more years of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required for NPs
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations
• Comfortable with minor procedures and reading EKGs and X-rays

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for Physician Assistants
• Master’s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
