Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care or emergency room experience to join our team at Memorial Hermann - GoHealth Urgent Care. Our centers are located in various South Region Cities and offer a welcoming and diverse community of providers.

Responsibilities

• Treating both adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of clinical services including sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
• Recognizing and directing patients to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.
• Delivering an unparalleled patient experience through excellent assessment skills and strong communication.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of post-residency experience required for Physician Assistants.
• 1 or more years of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required for Nurse Practitioners.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfortable with minor procedures, reading EKGs, and X-rays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for Physician Assistants.
• Master’s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners.
