Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Responsibilities

• Conducting physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records via a secure portal.
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms.
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment data.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals.

Skills

• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent time management.
• Empathetic communication skills.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday-Friday, in-person role.
• Caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily.
• Predictable schedule with no on-call duties.

Pay

Salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000 per year.
