Position Summary

Onsite Innovations is now hiring an experienced and self-driven Nurse Practitioner for a full-time position at their client's site in Aberdeen, MD! Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Spending 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
  • Ensuring day-to-day execution of Concentra's clinical model, collaborating with members of the healthcare team to drive optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Maintaining timely, accurate and detailed patient records and paperwork.
  • Interpreting diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
  • Performing therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
  • Instructing and counseling patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
  • Assisting in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of clinical care.
  • Assisting in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
  • Providing excellent and compassionate customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.

Education/Credentials

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Major: Nursing or related health field
  • Education Details: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience
  • Master’s degree in nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Certifications and/or Licenses: Current licensed nurse practitioner in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice
  • Must maintain work state nurse practitioner licensure throughout the course of employment

Job-Related Experience

  • Customarily has at least the following experience: 3 years
  • Customarily has at least three years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or an emergency setting

  • Knowledge of laws and regulations that govern delivery of rehabilitation services
  • Knowledge of worker’s compensation and clinical procedures and all processes involved in the delivery of quality care
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated willingness to participate in Continuing Medical Education
