Nurse Practitioner, Obesity Medicine - Full Time W2 (Region 4)

About the role

We are hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners who are passionate about and who have recent experience in obesity medicine to provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity. In this role, you would collaborate with physicians and registered dietitians to deliver exceptional team-based care. This will be a full-time, remote position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and registered dietitians to deliver exceptional team-based care
• Provide evidence-based lifestyle counseling and pharmacotherapy to patients with obesity
• Conduct telemedicine visits and maintain a great "web-side" manner
• Work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education related to obesity medicine

Requirements

• Have a Nurse Practitioner degree, with experience practicing Obesity Medicine, including effective evidence-based lifestyle counseling and pharmacotherapy
• Be licensed to practice and prescribe legally in NY, MA, additional licenses in ME, NH, VT, RI, NJ, DE, MD or PA and currently or previously credentialed with insurance payers
• RN Compact license or multistate license is a bonus
• Have 2+ years of experience in outpatient or obesity medicine, endocrinology, or bariatrics, and/or 2 + years of obesity medicine experience in a primary care, internal medicine, or similar setting
• Have excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
• Be committed to the highest quality of medical care and an evidence-based approach to obesity management

Qualifications

• Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred

Pay

Base Annual Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 USD
