About The Opportunity

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a motivated and driven Nurse Practitioner to join our high-risk Maternal Fetal Medicine team in the Fetal Diagnostic Center on the island of O‘ahu.

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal/postpartum care.
• Working closely with department’s Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians to manage patients with Chronic Hypertension, thyroid disease, diabetes, and other maternal complications.
• Care coordination for our complex and multidisciplinary patients, including neighbor island patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, interdisciplinary collaboration, and team-based care models to enhance patient outcomes and the overall patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License.
• Current Hawai‘i Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
• Minimum of Two (2) years nursing experience in OB care.
• At least two (2) years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health preferred.

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care.
