Role Overview
Full-time, Monday-Friday Hours: 8-5
Provide psychiatric patient care to adults and adolescents in an inpatient setting
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
Provide interventions and behavioral management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
Typical case load: 14-16 patients/day
Compensation And Benefits
Base salary plus productivity bonus, W2 position with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k)
Paid after-hour call coverage (voluntary/by rotation)
Paid weekend coverage (voluntary/rotation)
Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage
Qualifications
Dual certification as a PMHNP and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC), or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-PCNP)
Active, unrestricted Tennessee Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Active DEA or willingness to obtain
Minimum of 1-year experience as a NP in an inpatient setting
