About the role

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive patient assessments within a designated service, including physical examinations, history taking, and ongoing data collection.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Consult with physicians
• Review medical records
• Coordinate care
• Ensure effective communication to promote continuity and quality of care
• Practice according to established protocols and legal standards
• Demonstrate safety awareness
• Participate in staff development and performance improvement activities

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of NP experience
• Recent specialized care in women’s health
• Master's degree in Nursing (Adult, Family Practice, or Women's Health)
• California Nurse Practitioner Certificate
• California RN License
• National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• BLS certification
• NP certification
• Additional credentialing and application for PTAN
