About the role
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive patient assessments within a designated service, including physical examinations, history taking, and ongoing data collection.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Consult with physicians
- Review medical records
- Coordinate care
- Ensure effective communication to promote continuity and quality of care
- Practice according to established protocols and legal standards
- Demonstrate safety awareness
- Participate in staff development and performance improvement activities
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of NP experience
- Recent specialized care in women’s health
- Master's degree in Nursing (Adult, Family Practice, or Women's Health)
- California Nurse Practitioner Certificate
- California RN License
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- BLS certification
- NP certification
- Additional credentialing and application for PTAN
