About the role
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations, within the scope of established protocols and policies. They collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure effective, quality patient care and communicate with other providers to maintain continuity.
The NP performs ongoing data collection, patient education, and advocacy, while managing diagnostic orders and follow-ups. They delegate and coordinate team activities, evaluate care effectiveness, and adhere to safety and legal standards. The role also involves participating in performance improvement, staff development, and research activities, demonstrating professional accountability and a service-oriented approach.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing.
- California RN and NP licensure.
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Relevant clinical experience.
- Credentialing and application for a Provider Transaction Account Number.
- Compliance with safety and legal standards.
