Nurse Practitioner Hospice PRN

About the role

We are seeking a Hospice Nurse Practitioner to provide palliative care, symptom management, and supportive services to hospice patients.

Responsibilities

• Conducting face-to-face visits
• Collaborating with the Hospice Medical Director and other healthcare professionals
• Developing and coordinating care plans
• Documenting patient progress
• Instructing patients and families in self-care techniques

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted license in the state of practice
• Current certification as a Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner
• National certification (e.g., ANCC, NBCHPN, AANP)
• At least 5+ years of nursing experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Dependable transportation
• CPR certification

Skills

Preferred skills include experience in oncology, geriatrics, hospice, or intensive care, and familiarity with interdisciplinary teams.

Pay and Benefits

Compensation ranges from $46.00 to $69.00 per hour, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. The role offers opportunities for professional growth within a supportive environment focused on compassionate care.
