U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs · Harrison, MT · 1 mo ago
Full-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes summary, qualifications, duties, benefits, schedule, etc. Must not repeat job title. Use

for section headings. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We must preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate (cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc). The posting includes many details: summary, qualifications (basic requirements, grade determinations, preferred experience, physical requirements), duties, benefits (VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: VA Nurse Total Rewards Pay: Competitive salary - regular salary increases - potential for performance awards Paid Time Off: 50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave - 13 days of sick leave - 11 paid Federal holidays per year) Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement) Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory Work Schedule: 8:00 A.M- 4:30 P.M Monday - Friday Telework: This position will likely be eligible to telework on a limited Ad-Hoc basis only The Veterans Health Administration - including VISN 4 (legacy VISN 19) and the Montana VA Health Care System - will comply fully with the intention and instructions contained in the \"Return to Office\" Executive OrderVirtual: This is not a virtual positionRelocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized PCS Appraised Value Offer (AVO): Not Authorized) We need sections: About the role (maybe summary), Responsibilities (duties), Requirements (qualifications), Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Also maybe Physical Requirements could be part of Requirements. We must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". We have actual content for Pay: "Competitive salary - regular salary increases - potential for performance awards". That's substantive. Schedule: "8:00 A.M- 4:30 P.M Monday - Friday". Telework note. Benefits: list of PTO, retirement, insurance, licensure. We need to ensure we don't include duplicated lines. Also remove the YouTube link? The duties section includes a link: "Duties https://youtu.be/NpaTtyybXFQ?si=IHyw-Bf27aaL4Wvz". That's likely a reference; we should keep duties text but maybe drop the URL? The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. The URL is not substantive? It's a link to a video describing duties; maybe it's considered boilerplate? It's not typical boilerplate but it's a link. Might be considered part of posting; but we could keep it as part of duties? The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The YouTube link is not those; it's a reference. I'd keep it but maybe as part of duties prose. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Let's structure:

    Duties https://youtu.be/NpaTtyybXFQ?si=IHyw-Bf27aaL4Wvz

    maybe include as paragraph.

    Requirements

We need to include qualifications: basic requirements (English proficiency, graduation from accredited nursing program, licensure, etc.), grade determinations (detailed), preferred experience, physical requirements. We could break into sub-sections? But only allowed headings are those listed; we cannot create custom headings like "Basic Requirements". We could embed lists under Requirements heading. We need to use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can list requirements as list items. We must preserve all substantive info; we can't omit details like grade determinations etc. That's a lot of text; we need to include it. We could create a

for prose describing grade determinations, but the instruction says use

      • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. The grade determinations are not a simple list; they are detailed criteria with multiple conditions. Could be presented as prose paragraphs. We'll try to keep it readable. We'll include:

        Requirements

Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency – must be proficient in basic written and spoken English per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f). Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by either the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at time of program completion. Individuals attending a master's level bridge program in nursing who have completed coursework equivalent to a bachelor's level degree in Nursing may have opportunity to become registered as a nurse with a state licensing board prior to completion of the bridge program; upon achievement of a State license, may be appointed on temporary basis and later converted to permanent appointment upon successful completion and graduation from the bridge program (see VA Handbook 5005 – Appendix G6). For graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing, possession of a current, full, active, and unrestricted registration meets the requirement for graduation from an approved school of professional nursing to warrant appointment as a Nurse who has completed an associated degree/entry level Nursing education program; credit for foreign nursing education higher than associate degree/entry level requires a formal degree equivalency validation from a recognized equivalency evaluation accepted by VA such as International Consultants of Delaware (ICD). Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia. Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) Exception: Candidates who otherwise meet the basic education requirements but do not possess the required licensure may be appointed at the entry step of the grade and level applicable to the completed nursing education as a GNT on a 120‑day temporary appointment while actively pursuing licensure (may be extended up to two years on a case‑by‑case basis). NOTE: Grandfathering Provision – All persons currently employed in VHA in 0610 series and performing the duties as described in the qualification standard on the effective date of the standard (1/29/2024) are considered to have met all qualification requirements for the grade held including positive education and licensure/certification.

Then grade determinations: we could present as a list of grade levels with their scope, education, etc. That's a lot; but we need to preserve. We could format as
        • for each grade level, with nested details. Let's attempt:

          Requirements
