Nurse Practitioner: Hoag Medical Group
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we should stick to those headings. We can include About the role (company overview) maybe. But About the role is more about the role, not company. However we could treat About the role as a brief summary of the role (the first paragraph). Then Responsibilities as detailed duties. Qualifications for education/experience. Requirements for license/certifications/department specific. Skills for preferred certifications. That seems reasonable.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, etc. Remove duplicated lines. We must preserve all substantive information. So we need to extract all substantive info from the posting.
Let's parse:

We need to output HTML with sections.
We'll create:

That's a lot but okay. Then Responsibilities? Actually we already included duties in About the role. Might be duplication. Better to split: About the role short overview, Responsibilities detailed list. But we have a lot of detail; we could put all in Responsibilities and keep About the role brief (maybe one sentence). However we must preserve all substantive info; we can put the detailed duties in Responsibilities as a- list. That would be better structured. Thus: About the role: brief summary: "The Nurse Practitioner provides high quality advanced nursing care in accordance with professional regulatory standards and within the scope of the nurse practitioner license, working in various specialty areas including Hoag Compass, Hospice, Heart Valve Clinic, and Risk Adjustment." Then Responsibilities: list each duty as
- . Need to capture all duties from the long paragraph. We'll break into items. Let's extract duties: - Provides high quality advanced nursing care in accordance with professional regulatory standards and within the scope of the nurse practitioner license. - Provides multidisciplinary care including patient evaluations and assessments, patient education, interventions, and documents plan of care. - Requests physician consultations and multidisciplinary consults. - Recognizes that ethical/legal/medical dilemmas exist in the nursing practice, and confers with appropriate resources and staff when making ethical decisions. - May work as an independent provider and/or under indirect supervision of a supervising physician. - May see all and treat a variety of age populations. - Depending on area, may work different hours, weekends and holidays. - May require on-call time. - Privileges granted by the Medical Staff Department can include arranging admission and transfer of patients, performing and dictating exams, history and physicals, rounding on assigned patients and writing progress notes with plan of care, and dictating discharge summary. - May furnish medications (non-narcotic) and durable medical equipment (DME), controlled substances III, IV, V with appropriate licensure/certification, and controlled substances II with appropriate licensure/certification. - May order blood products, laboratory tests, radiological, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and neurological studies, oxygen therapy, respiratory treatment, and pulmonary tests. - May perform drain and suture removal. - May order and administer medications and IV therapy with the ability to assess and adjust appropriate dosing. - Performs other duties as assigned. - Hoag Compass – Jamboree: provides support through face to face, chat, texting, or video platform; must be competent in use of Consumer Health technologies and software (e.g., fitness wearables and health software applications). - Hospice: provides explanation of benefits to GIP program and home hospice candidates (or their DPOA); admits patients to hospice GIP program; functions as integral member of hospice interdisciplinary team; provides daily visits for hospice care patients; coordinates plan of care with other designated hospice and hospital staff; fulfills requirements of the “face-to-face encounter” with a Medicare beneficiary enrolled in hospice. - Heart Valve Clinic: provides advanced clinical care to patients with complex heart failure across inpatient and outpatient settings; works closely with cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary team. - Risk Adjustment: executes guided processes to complete Annual Health Assessments (AHAs) for Hoag Clinic’s Medicare patient population; works with patients with chronic illnesses commonly encountered in adult and geriatric population; responsible for assessment, diagnosis, education, health promotion, and care coordination for patients with acute and chronic health needs; must have advanced knowledge of HCC Coding and Documentation, and Quality Measure guidelines. That covers. Now Qualifications: Education and Experience: Master’s in Nursing (MSN) or DNP required. Completion of proctoring by Medical Staff Office. Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in the care and management of patients. We could also include "Additional Department Specific Requirements Are As Follows" as part of Requirements or Qualifications? Probably Requirements. Let's create Requirements section: includes education/experience? Actually Qualifications already covers education/experience. Requirements could include license, certifications, department specific requirements. But we have both Qualifications and Requirements headings allowed. We'll use Qualifications for education/experience and maybe advanced clinical knowledge. Requirements for license, certifications, department specific. Skills: certifications preferred (Orthopedic Nurse Certification preferred). Could also include bilingual/multilingual preferred etc. Many department specific requirements mention bilingual/multilingual preferred. Those could be skills. Thus Skills section: list of preferred skills: bilingual/multilingual preferred (multiple departments), clinical trial experience, ECG course completion, etc. Also Orthopedic Nurse Certification preferred. We need to capture all preferred items from the text. Let's scan the department specific requirements for preferred items: Breast Care: 3 years' experience in Women’s Health or Adult Oncology as a nurse/NP or equivalent. Advanced clinical knowledge in personalized cancer risk assessment. Training or education in genetics, bilingual preferred. Cardiac Admin: Experience in adult/geriatric cardiovascular care. Experience in cardiovascular data collection preferred. Emergency Dept: Experience in psychiatric/mental health. Endoscopy/Surgical Center for Digestive Diseases: Experience in adult/geriatric
