About the role
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to work with military families at Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary healthcare services to military families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and provide treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications as appropriate
- Develop and implement care plans
- Document patient encounters and treatments accurately
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing
- Graduate from an academic program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
- Certified by ANCC, AANP, or a recognized national nursing certification organization
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license in any state
Qualifications
- Experience with military healthcare settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of military healthcare policies and procedures
Skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)

Pay
