Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice (FNP)
About the role
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is recruiting for an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner at the Dumfries Health Center in Dumfries, Virginia. The position supports active duty and dependents in the National Capitol Region.
Responsibilities
- Supportive environment with access to specialty services including pediatrics, radiology, pharmacy, and lab.
- Full complement of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, life insurance, and more.
- Paid time off, sick leave, paid CME time, and 11 paid Federal holidays per year.
- All patients are Tricare-insured, covering active military, qualifying veterans, and their dependents.
- Scheduling operates from 7am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 2pm on Saturday.
- Extends the Emergency Department at Fort Belvoir, handling overflow cases beyond the clinic's scope.
- Will not typically see overflow from primary clinics; support staff includes nursing and MA.
- Stable culture with senior physician and nursing leadership.
Requirements
- All active state licenses accepted.
- At least 1 year of experience working in Urgent Care/ER.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Active DEA registration.
