About the Role
The School of Nursing at UNC Greensboro seeks a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP). Dual certification is strongly preferred, but candidates with either PMHNP or FNP/AGPCNP certification will be considered. The position is for a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor or Clinical Professor.
This role supports the teaching, scholarship, and service mission of the School of Nursing. Ideal candidates are creative, innovative, and highly motivated, with current specialty certification, teaching experience, clinical experience, and a background in evidence-based practice.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing.
- Unencumbered RN license in North Carolina.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) prior to employment.
- Clinical experience as FNP/AGPCNP and/or PMHNP.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree preferred.
- Dual certification as FNP/AGPCNP and PMHNP strongly preferred.
- Teaching experience.
Pay
Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and credentials.
Schedule
9-month, full-time (1.0 FTE) non-tenure stream faculty position.
Work Environment
- Primarily indoors.
- Physical effort includes occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, holding, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent reading, writing, hearing, and talking; occasional repetitive hand movements.
