Nurse Practitioner -Director of Clinical Education and Training

About the role
The Director of Clinical Education and Training serves as a full-time clinical educator embedded within an outpatient primary care setting. This role is responsible for the supervised onboarding, clinical training, mentorship, and professional development of newly hired Nurse Practitioners transitioning into community health practice. The Director will practice clinically alongside new NP staff and other clinical team members while providing structured, competency-based mentorship and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This position plays a key role in workforce development and in building a skilled, mission-aligned clinical team.

- Clinical Education Program Leadership: Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive clinical education and training program aligned with organizational priorities, clinical quality goals, workforce needs, and regulatory requirements; establish standardized education, onboarding, competency assessment, and professional development processes across clinical departments; develop an annual clinical education plan based on organizational priorities, quality data, patient safety trends, regulatory requirements, and workforce competency needs; serve as the subject-m
