Nurse Practitioner, Critical Care, Day Shift

Position Overview Seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse to join the Float Pool within a Critical Care environment. The role involves applying clinical knowledge, research, and experience to deliver excellent patient care and improve outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive exams, diagnosing and managing common clinical issues, developing and evaluating treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and participating in discharge planning. The nurse will write orders, communicate findings, and contribute to interdisciplinary rounds, teaching, and patient education. Selected diagnostic and therapeutic procedures will be performed, with ongoing professional development encouraged. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills, with flexibility in scheduling.
